Thank You for Making Taste of Venezuela 2025 Unforgettable
Dear friends and community members
On behalf of the Venezuelan Canadian Association of Calgary VCAC I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at Taste of Venezuela 2025. Despite the rainy weather your enthusiasm and presence turned the day into a vibrant and joyful celebration of Venezuelan culture.
This year we filled the streets of Calgary with the flavours, music, colours, and spirit of Venezuela. From traditional dishes to handmade crafts and energetic performances every moment reflected the pride and diversity of our community. Your support brought warmth and life to every corner of the celebration.
We are especially grateful to the City of Calgary for their collaboration in helping us bring this cultural event to the streets. We deeply value their commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting multicultural events that strengthen community ties.
A very special thank you goes to our sponsors, whose generosity made this event possible. Your partnership allows us to grow and continue sharing our heritage with Calgarians and visitors alike.
To our volunteers, thank you for your dedication and tireless efforts. Your work before, during, and after the event was the backbone of everything we accomplished. From setting up tents to guiding guests your commitment was essential to our success.
Taste of Venezuela was also the closing event of this year’s Venezuelan Culture Days, a series that brought together theatre, film, music, dance, and community engagement. As we close this chapter we do so with pride and gratitude knowing that together we celebrated our culture, our stories, and our shared identity.
Thank you for helping us keep this tradition alive. We look forward to seeing you again next year to continue celebrating our folklore, our flavours, and our artistic expressions.
With sincere appreciation,
Ernesto Gudino
